The three amateur ghost hunters who seemed to have “vanished” during a ghost hunt livestream have been found, almost a week after they were first reported missing.
Authorities conducting a search of the abandoned factory where the three were reported missing were alerted to a commotion on Black Nab Island, an offshore island south of Eden that is purported by many locals to be haunted.
The three were found to be in a state of distress, with the group’s leader, 24-year-old Shaun Hoskins, claiming they were abducted by unseen forces.
When asked to recount what had happened, Hoskins said, “Something chased us back at the factory. We started running, and next thing we know we’re in the woods.”
It is still unclear how the three ended up on an offshore island several kilometers from the abandoned factory, but Eden police say that drug use is not uncommon in such incidences, especially considering the three youth’s level of hysteria and unexplained circumstances.
Investigations are still ongoing.
